Competition Projects

Design Competitions are a great way to showcase your skills of critical thinking and collaboration under extremely short time limits .  What I like most about them are they simulated a real world scenario between architects and other consultants. Most of these competitions require team that not only consist of architects, but fellow partners such as landscape architects and engineers. It is nice to collaborate with students that were not in architecture because it not only sharpened my skills to communicate without using architectural jargon, but gave me exposure to different issues not taught in studio, prompting unique ways to problem solve.
